Offshore Division

We participate in the offshore services sector in the Gulf of Mexico (Sonda de Campeche) through our wholly-owned subsidiary Marítima Mexicana, S.A. de C.V.(‘‘Marmex’’). The offshore division currenty operates 23 vessels, which are operated by Marmex and are used to service medium and long-term contracts.

Marmex provides the follwoing services:

Transportation and supply of materials and equipment to oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
Towing of structures and hulls.
Marine platform anchor positioning and management
Underwater inspection and exploration support with specialized ships.
Surveillance and protection services with fire fighting ships.
Personnel transportation.
Coordination and execution of ship conversion projects.
Third party ship administration and operation.
Logistical support for the integral operation of ships for inspection and construction companies.
